Proton Experimental Update Addresses Issues with GRIS and Risk of Rain 2

A new Proton Experimental update has been released, bringing in some much-awaited fixes and enhancements to your gaming experience. This update includes changes from Proton 9 Beta 15, which not only makes games like Alan Wake playable again but also addresses some key issues in various other games.

One of the standout improvements is the fix for multiplayer functionality in Risk of Rain 2. Players can now start multiplayer lobbies without any issues, enhancing the cooperative gaming experience in this popular title. Additionally, Trove players will no longer experience crashes when navigating through their inventory, ensuring smoother gameplay.

For those with a Steam Deck, the new update will automatically download once you open up your device, so you can start enjoying the benefits right away!
