Fallout 4 has reclaimed its crown as the best-selling game across Europe, thanks to the recent surge in sales driven by the launch of the highly anticipated Fallout TV series. According to the latest data from GSD (as reported by GamesIndustry.biz), Fallout 4 experienced a staggering 7500% increase in sales compared to the previous week, propelling it to the top of the European charts.

The success of Fallout 4 can be largely attributed to the debut of the Fallout TV series on Amazon Prime Video. The show, which premiered to critical acclaim, has garnered an impressive rating of 94% on Rotten Tomatoes and an audience score of 88%. The synergy between the TV series and the game franchise has resulted in a massive surge in popularity for Fallout 4, as well as other titles in the series.

Notably, three other Fallout games, Fallout 76, Fallout: New Vegas, and Fallout 3, secured spots in the European top 10 alongside Fallout 4. This achievement highlights the enduring appeal of the beloved post-apocalyptic universe created by Bethesda Game Studios.

The Fallout TV series has not only captivated audiences with its gripping storytelling and immersive world-building but has also reignited interest in the Fallout games themselves. Over the past weekend, player counts for Fallout 4 on platforms like Steam witnessed a substantial increase, with peak numbers reaching an all-time high of 83,491 players on Sunday.

As fans eagerly await the continuation of the Fallout TV series, which has already been renewed for a second season, the Fallout gaming community continues to thrive and expand. The radioactive glow of success shines brightly on Fallout 4, showcasing the enduring power of the franchise and the impact of multimedia crossovers on gaming sales.
