World of Warcraft Hotfixes Patch Notes (9th April 2026)
Blizzard has pushed a fresh round of World of Warcraft hotfixes, with the April 7 changes doing the heavy lifting across tanks and DPS specs.
Blizzard has published the latest round of World of Warcraft hotfixes, covering changes across Midnight, Mists of Pandaria Classic, and several other versions of the game. The April 7 changes are the meatier batch, with significant tuning across tanks and damage specs.
Blood Death Knights are the big winners, picking up a 25% auto-attack boost and a bump to Blood Fortification armor from 35% to 45%. Protection Paladins also get some love on the survivability side, with Light of the Titans' healing doubling when you're under a periodic effect. On the flip side, Brewmaster Monks are being reined in after their Midnight self-healing proved a bit too strong. Vengeance Demon Hunter gets a 40% melee auto-attack increase, which is a substantial correction for a spec that's been quietly underperforming in single-target.
The April 9 fixes are smaller but worth knowing. Demonology Warlocks had a Demonic Brutality bug inflating pet crit damage to 260% instead of the intended 230%, and Augmentation Evoker's Ebon Might radius jumped from 100 yards to 500, which is a meaningful quality-of-life change in chaotic raid environments.
