World of Warcraft Hotfixes Patch Notes (29th April 2026)
Blizzard rolls out hotfixes across WoW: Midnight and Classic, with Warlock and Mage getting the most attention alongside a dungeon timer bump for Algeth'ar Academy.

Warlocks and Mages have been carrying some quietly broken interactions for a while now, and this latest round of WoW hotfixes does a fair amount of cleanup. Affliction Warlocks in particular get several fixes: Abyssal Immolator's 4-piece set bonus now correctly bumps Agony's initial stack count, and Shared Agony no longer breaks after casting a Curse. Frost Mages also see multiple corrections, including a fix for Flurry not fully benefiting from Brain Freeze damage when a non-proc'd cast followed immediately after.
On the dungeon side, Algeth'ar Academy gets a one-minute timer extension to 31 minutes, which is a small but real quality-of-life bump for groups that were just barely missing the key. Maisara Caverns sees a more meaningful change: Coordinated Assault from Muro'jin and Nekraxx has been cut by 30% and now ignores armor, which should make that fight feel less punishing for squishier group compositions.
There are also fixes rolling back from April 27 and April 24, covering everything from a Great Vault item level display error to Marksmanship Hunter PvP nerfs targeting overperforming Black Arrow interactions. Here's everything that changed.
