World of Warcraft Hotfixes Patch Notes (25th April 2026)
Blizzard rolls out hotfixes across WoW: Midnight and Classic, with Marksmanship Hunter taking a significant PvP hit and Unholy Death Knight getting some structural rework.
Marksmanship Hunter mains are going to feel this one. Blizzard's latest round of hotfixes hits the spec with a 30% Black Arrow damage reduction in PvP, a blanket 10% overall damage cut, and a rework to how Precise Shots interacts with Kill Shot and Black Arrow at 50% effectiveness. Blizzard's own developer notes point squarely at the talent changes from 12.0.5 as the culprit, which tracks given how chaotic that patch was. After everything that went wrong with 12.0.5, it's at least good to see Blizzard moving quickly to clean up the fallout rather than letting the meta sit broken for weeks.
Unholy Death Knight also gets some structural attention. Festering Scythe is being converted to a player aura to fix plague duration bugs, and Magus of the Dead will now act immediately on spawn. The developers describe it as the safest approach, which usually means the underlying problem was messier than it looked.
Elsewhere, Holy Paladins had a bug quietly tanking their damage output, a Rogue stealth audio fix finally makes it in, and Decor Duel gets a trap-spam exploit patched after players found a way to lock seekers in their starting room. The complete notes are below.
