Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege Y11S2.2 MID-SEASON Notes (14th July 2026)
Siege's mid-season patch lands with console M&K support, a revamped 1v1 Arcade, and significant operator tweaks across the board.

Console players can finally use mouse and keyboard in Rainbow Six Siege, though Ubisoft's kept it sensible: M&K is restricted to the PC crossplay pool only, keeping other matchmaking untouched. The real benefit here is text chat access for console teams, which opens up communication options that were previously locked behind controller-only play.
The 1v1 Arcade mode has had a proper overhaul. Preparation Phase now runs 15 seconds instead of 30, objective locations reveal at round start, and reinforcements drop from 10 to 6. Coastline, Consulate, and Outback join the map pool while House exits. Operator Attrition replaces Operator Ban, meaning every operator is available except Montagne, Blackbeard, Blitz, and Clash. Matchmaking tweaks aim to better reflect actual skill levels, so matches should feel less lopsided.
On the balance side, Dokkaebi's Jegeo Payload shifts to per-target cooldown at 14 seconds, Wamai gains an extra charge and faster activation, and Jäger trades a health point for a speed boost. Zofia's grenades get extra ammo, and the 416-C recoil pattern smooths out across both M&K and controller. The full list, including Melusi's expanded Banshee range and a fix for Mute disabling the XK23's sights, is below.

MOUSE & KEYBOARD SUPPORT ON CONSOLES
M&K is coming to consoles! Their use will be allowed in the PC crossplay pool, but will still be forbidden in other pools. Teams with console players will have stronger communication, as M&K makes text chat available to all. You can decide whether a Custom Game allows mouse and keyboard with a new Input Device option added to match settings.
