No Man's Sky The Swarm - 6.42 Patch Notes (28th May 2026)
Hello Games has pushed a small follow-up fix for The Swarm, with more platform patches on the way.
This one is a single-fix patch, and a pretty minor one at that. Patch 6.42 for No Man's Sky is live now on Steam, resolving a gamertag display bug that slipped through with The Swarm launch earlier this week.
Hello Games says the fix is coming to other platforms as soon as possible, so console players may need to sit tight a little longer. It's the third patch in as many days for The Swarm, which tells you the team is moving fast on cleanup after a big update drop. I don't mind rapid-fire hotfixes at all, it's exactly what you want from a studio that's still actively supporting a game years after launch.
The complete notes are below.
