Patch 6.45.1 is now live on Steam, with console versions following shortly. Hello Games is moving quickly on The Swarm bugs, and this one targets the most disruptive issues players have reported since the expansion dropped. Equally annoying, freighter captains weren't calling you after battle completions, breaking a core part of the freighter loop. Both are now resolved.

These are focused, targeted fixes rather than a sweeping balance pass, which makes sense for a patch this quick after launch. Hello Games is clearly monitoring Zendesk reports and console crash data closely, so if you've hit other issues, the studio wants to hear about them. Check the full notes below for the complete list.

Fix
The Swarm 6.45.1

Hello Everyone,

Thank you to everyone playing No Man’s Sky – The Swarm, especially those taking the time to report any issues they encounter via Zendesk or console crash reporting.

We are listening closely to your feedback, and have identified and resolved a number of issues. These fixes are included in patch 6.45.1, which is now live on Steam, and will be coming to other platforms as soon as possible.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue which could cause freighters to disappear under some circumstances.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented freighter captains from calling the player after completing a freighter battle.

We will continue to release patches as issues are identified and resolved. If you experience any issues, let us know by submitting a bug report.

Thank you,
Hello Games
