Dark and Darker Early Access Hotfix #114-1 Patch Notes (8th May 2026)
Ironmace drops a small but focused hotfix targeting a crash, broken quest displays, and a Steam Deck lockout affecting High-Roller and Arena.

Steam Deck players trying to queue into High-Roller or Arena have been locked out due to a Secure Option compatibility issue, and that alone makes this hotfix worth shipping fast. Early Access Hotfix #114-1 went live today, and while it's a short list of three fixes, two of them are the sort of thing that actively stops players from doing what they logged in to do.
The Abomination crash is the other one to flag. A specific attack pattern from the boss was capable of dropping the client entirely, which in a game where a disconnection can cost you your gear, is more than just a minor inconvenience. Getting that patched quickly is the right call.
Three fixes isn't a lot, but Ironmace has generally kept a steady cadence of small, targeted patches rather than letting issues pile up, and I'd rather see this than a week of silence. Here's the full breakdown.
