Sid Meiers Civilization VII 1.4.1 Hotfix Notes (30th June 20

Update 1.4.1 is live today specifically for console and Linux/Steam Deck players, and it's a focused one, Firaxis identified a controller responsiveness problem that was breaking functionality when you selected an Enhancer Belief, and they've nailed it down.

Beyond the controller fix, this hotfix brings over a few UI corrections that desktop players already got. Affirmation Traditions now actually show up under the Heian Traditions tab during setup (which was a confusing omission), and Heian's civilization quote finally appears where it should in the New Game creation screen. There's also a rendering improvement to stop mountain textures from popping in when you uncover connected tiles, a small visual fix that makes exploration feel less jarring.
