Brighter Shores Bonewright Talismans Patch Notes (22nd June 2026)
Botanists can now craft Bonewright talismans to double their chances at rare weapons, while passive combat finally gets the coin cap it needed.

Brighter Shores rolls out Bonewright talismans for Botanists, giving you nine new crafting options tied to different globeplant varieties. Each one doubles your odds of landing an uncommon or rare weapon in a specific category, whether that's Goat Horn Ranged, Bone Spike Melee, or Shark Jaw Shields. It's a straightforward power boost that rewards you for levelling Botanist, and it slots into the existing talisman system without overcomplicating things.
The patch also finally caps passive combat coins. If you've been letting your character idle and racking up currency while doing literally nothing else, that gravy train just got shorter. The cap kicks in from milestone 20 onwards, which prevents passive combat from outearning other professions' passive activities, a balance move that's overdue. You'll still earn coins, just not trivializes the grind.
Quality of life gets some love too: drag-and-drop seed and remedy placement, strength potion action disabling after use, and fixes for bounty bugs and the Critical Care Ward's duplicate patient issue. Look for the Bonewright categories in your Botanist interface to see which talisman suits your weapon crafting goals.
Full Patch Notes
Seasoned Botanists can now craft Bonewright talismans at the Greenhouse in Hopeforest. Each Bonewright talisman is crafted from a particular variety of globeplant, with one variety used at each milestone of Botanist, starting at milestone 1.
Each of the 9 talismans doubles the chance of crafting an uncommon or rare weapon in a specific category.
For Bonewright, these categories are:
- Goat Horn Ranged Weapons
- Bone Spike Melee Weapons
- Rams Horn Ranged Weapons
- Femur Shard Melee Weapons
- Shark Jaw Shields
- Goat Horn Melee Weapons
- Bone Spike Ranged Weapons
- Rams Horn Melee Weapons
- Femur Shard Ranged Weapons
You can find more information on Bonewright talismans in the Botanist profession interface.
Balancing changes
• We have capped the number of coins you can get from passive combat so it does not outperform passive activities in other professions. The number of coins you can get from active combat already has a similar cap to prevent active combat from outperforming active activities in other professions. This cap is only relevant from the middle of milestone 20 combat onwards.
• Shift a thistle in Crystal Clearing so it does not block access to the nearby suave tree.
Quality of life improvements
• You can now drag and drop seeds from your backpack onto the seed rack and remedy reagents onto the remedy reagents shelf to deposit them.
• When in combat, the strength potion action will be disabled after you drink a strength potion to better reflect that you cannot drink a second strength potion.
Bug fixes
• Temporarily remove a Botanist bounty related map label from Hopeforest until that update actually launches.
• Fix curious cure bounties incorrectly rewarding you the album card for the equivalent potion.
• Fix a bug where you could see the same patient twice in the Critical Care Ward.
