Exciting news for fans of Palworld as the first post-launch content update has arrived, introducing the fearsome raid boss, Bellanoir, along with some quality of life improvements.
The latest version, v0.2.0.6, was rolled out last week for Xbox players, but a snag was discovered - a multiplayer save data issue that prevents loading data from older versions. This setback may hinder players eager to take on Bellanoir, but rest assured, the developers are hard at work on a solution. It's recommended not to load affected save data until the fix is live. Any new save data created in a multiplayer game post v0.2.0.6's release may also face loading troubles.
In the Xbox version v0.2.0.6 that was released today, we have confirmed an issue where multiplayer player save data is not being loaded correctly when multiplayer save data from an older version is loaded.

We have identified the cause and are currently developing a patch to fix…
Palworld is currently playable on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, but talks are underway to expand to other platforms. Despite some initial hiccups, the game has already amassed a whopping 15 million copies sold on Steam, with 10 million players on Xbox alone, thanks in part to the Game Pass boost.
Stay tuned for further updates from the Palworld team as they work on patching up the multiplayer save data issue. In the meantime, gear up, gather your friends, and prepare to face the mighty Bellanoir in this wild and whimsical world!
