With the recent next-gen update for Fallout 4 causing quite a buzz among gamers, many PlayStation 5 users have encountered some challenges in downloading the update. However, fear not, as we have a guide to help you successfully upgrade Fallout 4 on your PS5!
For those who purchased a digital copy from the PlayStation Store, the update won't be automatically installed. You'll need to manually go to the digital storefront on your console, search for Fallout 4, and claim the next-gen update for your account. Once you do this, the download and installation process will begin.
If you own the PS4 disc version, simply insert the disc into your PS5. Visit the Game Hub, click on the three dots, select 'View Product,' and then choose 'Free PS5 Upgrade.' The system will then initiate the download of the next-gen update.
Be prepared for a hefty download as the Fallout 4 next-gen update on PS5 is a substantial 56 GB. Make sure you have enough storage space on your system to accommodate the update.
