Take-Two has officially declared that Grand Theft Auto 6 is scheduled to hit the market in Autumn 2025, as reported via their earnings call on Thursday. The highly awaited game is primed to set a new standard in the gaming industry upon its release in the forthcoming years.
Together with GTA 6, Take-Two also revealed the progression of other games such as NBA 2K25, and WWE 2K25, ensuring an engaging lineup for the upcoming years.
The revealing of the initial teaser for Grand Theft Auto 6 transpired in the month of December, and it has already made its mark in history by accumulating over 100 million views within a mere two days. Outperforming the viewership of GTA 5's teaser, this clip has attained the status of being one of the most-watched trailers in YouTube's archives.
One of the most intriguing revelations conferred in the teaser is that GTA 6 will partially take place in Sunset City, a fabricated interpretation of a well-known American metropolitan city, and will embody two main characters, one of whom is a female protagonist - a first in the series following the transition to 3D graphics.
