Xbox has reportedly given the green light to the next game from Ninja Theory, the acclaimed developer behind titles like Hellblade and DmC: Devil May Cry. According to Windows Central, there are no plans to close the Cambridge-based studio, which was acquired by Microsoft in 2018.

Ninja Theory is known for its innovative and immersive storytelling, with titles like Kung Fu Chaos, Heavenly Sword, and Enslaved: Odyssey to the West captivating players around the world. The studio is also working on an experimental game called Project Mara, described as a "real world and grounded representation of mental terror" by studio co-founder Tameem Antoniades.

Microsoft's first-party development teams have been in the spotlight recently, with the company confirming layoffs and studio closures. Despite this, the future looks bright for Ninja Theory and its upcoming projects.

With the highly anticipated release of Hellblade 2 just around the corner, fans can expect another thrilling and immersive experience from Ninja Theory. The game will be available for Xbox Series X/S and PC, offering players a digital-only experience for $50.
