Square Enix has officially announced that multiple Kingdom Hearts games will be making their debut on Steam starting June 13, 2024. This news has sent shockwaves through the gaming community, especially for fans of the beloved Kingdom Hearts series.

The games set to launch on Steam include Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind DLC, and the all-encompassing Kingdom Hearts Integrum Masterpiece bundle. For those unfamiliar with the series, these games collectively make up what is known as the "Dark Seeker Saga" in the Kingdom Hearts universe.

One of the most exciting aspects of this announcement is that Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX will receive textural updates to its graphics, enhancing the visual experience for players. Additionally, players who purchase Kingdom Hearts III + ReMind DLC or the Integrum Masterpiece bundle will receive an exclusive Keyblade called "Dead of Night," available only on the Steam platform.

Originally released as a PlayStation 2 title in 2002, Kingdom Hearts has since expanded its reach to various platforms, including the Epic Games Store, PS4, Xbox One, and even the Nintendo Switch through cloud gaming. The addition of Steam to this list opens up new opportunities for gamers to experience the magic of Kingdom Hearts on their preferred platform.
