World of Warcraft Hotfixes Patch Notes (7th July 2026)
Blizzard's latest hotfix pass rebalances multiple class specs in both PvE and PvP, with Restoration Druid and Shadow Priest receiving notable attention alongside targeted nerfs to overperforming specs.

Blizzard has rolled out a substantial balance pass across World of Warcraft's hotfixes for July 7, 2026, addressing underperforming specs in both raids and PvP while reining in classes that have been running hot.
Restoration Druid gets a significant lift in raid damage with a 15% boost to all damage, though Bear Form Thrash takes a 25% hit to redistribute power elsewhere. The spec was struggling on single-target and overall raid contribution, so this reshuffles where its damage comes from rather than simply inflating numbers. Feral also sees adjustments: a 3% overall bump plus 15% melee auto-attack scaling, with Rip damage up 5%, should improve their single-target consistency without breaking PvP balance.
On the PvP side, the changes are more surgical. Devourer Demon Hunters lose healing efficiency (Shattered Souls now heals for 0.5% instead of 1%), Marksmanship Hunters see Double Tap's burst potential cut from 40% to 16%, and Protection Paladins' Divine Exaction echo drops from 75% to 25% effectiveness. Shadow Priest gets a rare gift: a 4% damage buff plus a 45% increase to Shadow Word: Death specifically, making the spec's niche damage tool actually worthwhile.
The full list includes fixes for Voidspire respawns, housing room awards, quest credit issues, and transport skiff safety in Naigtal.
