Space Engineers Update 210 Sneak Peek: New Prototech (29th May 2026)
Keen Software House is teasing Update 1.210 for Space Engineers, and there's a new Prototech block on the way, though exactly what it does is still anyone's guess.
Keen Software House is already looking past the 1.209 Economy II update. In a teaser post on the Space Engineers Steam page, the studio confirmed that Update 1.210 is in development, targeting bug fixes, quality of life improvements, and a batch of new blocks, the most intriguing of which is a new Prototech addition called the Factorum.
Prototech blocks have always been the high-end, hard-to-acquire tier of Space Engineers' tech tree, so a new one is a pull for players deep in survival mode. The studio isn't revealing what the Factorum actually does yet, leaning into community speculation instead. I'll be honest: the mystery angle is a bit thin as far as teasers go, but if the block is as useful as some of the existing Prototech lineup, it'll be worth the wait.
No release date for 1.210 has been announced. The complete notes are below.
