Space Engineers: Economy 2 Update & Pack Launching (20th April 2026)
Keen Software House has set May 4th as the launch date for the Space Engineers Economy 2 Update and Pack, with daily community preview videos running from now until release.
May 4th is the date. Keen Software House has confirmed via the official Steam announcement that the Space Engineers: Economy 2 Update and Pack goes live at 5 PM UTC, with a release livestream running simultaneously on Twitch and YouTube through the Keen Community Network.
Starting today, community creators are dropping Economy 2 preview videos daily in a video advent calendar format leading up to launch. Early slots cover structural blocks and an economy overview, with the remaining videos through May 3rd still listed as incoming. It's a decent way to build anticipation, and if the economy overhaul is as substantial as the drip-feed suggests, this could be one of the bigger updates Space Engineers has seen in a while.
