Horus is finally in Smite 2. The Egyptian falcon god lands today in Update 36 with a kit that's interesting on paper: his ultimate, To the Skies!, lets him teleport his entire team to a new location, which has serious potential to flip late-game fights if you can pull it off without getting interrupted. His Protector's Surge also flies him to an ally and heals them on landing, making him one of the more support-oriented Warriors the game has seen. His Aspect of the Falcon, which reworks Fracture and his ultimate into more aggressive tools, releases on June 5th.

On the balance side, Ah Puch takes heavy cuts across his passive, Fleeting Breath, and Empty The Crypts, all of which were clearly doing too much. Kali's Incense buffs are trimmed back too. Kukulkan gets a quiet scaling bump on both Zephyr and Slipstream, which should help him feel a bit less punished in the mid-game. Assault players also get a small quality-of-life win: you can now re-enter the fountain to buy items during the Setup phase before minions spawn.

Here's the full breakdown.

Buff Nerf Fix Tweak

The Rightful Heir Update

New Classic God Horus

  • Passive: Resolute
  • Gain Resolute stacks when an enemy god damages you. Each stack grants protections and crowd control reduction for a short duration. When resolute expires, heal based on your stacks.
  • Ability 1: Updraft
  • Create an updraft around you, dealing physical damage and knocking up nearby enemies.
  • Your next attack within a short duration, fires a gust forward, dealing physical damage and slowing enemies. Enemies already knocked up take bonus physical damage.
  • Ability 2:Fracture
  • Dash forward, dealing physical damage, hitting an enemy god stops the dash and stuns them, then you cleave enemies in front of you for physical damage and reduce their protections for a duration.
  • Ability 3: Protector’s Surge
  • Fly to a target ally and descend on their location. When you land, heal the target ally and nearby allies and grant them protections for a duration.
  • Ultimate Ability: To the Skies!
  • Send a mirror image into the sky to choose a landing location. After selecting a location, channel briefly, then teleport to that location. On landing, deal physical damage, knock back enemies, and grant yourself a shield for a duration.
  • You are immobile and CC immune while channeling.
  • After landing all allies near your start location are also teleported and receive a shield.
  • Aspect of the Falcon releasing June 5th.
  • Fracture no longer stuns but deals increased damage on the cleave. Protector’s Suge has reduced range but now can target a location spawning a wind sprite or targeting an enemy dealing damage and granting a gust attack. To the Skies! No longer teleports allies but deals bonus damage in the center.
