skate. Update 0.30.2 Patch Notes (23rd March 2026)
skate. Update 0.30.2 targets several grind mechanics that broke at Season 3 launch, with most of the issues now fixed and double grinds coming back in the next update.
skate. Update 0.30.2 went live on March 24, and it's a direct response to the grind mechanic problems that surfaced when Season 3 launched. According to the official patch notes on Steam, the team has been treating the double grinds, pop-less grind exits, low pop height, and grind assist issues as top priority since that drop.
This update patches all of those except double grinds. That one gets its own fix in 0.30.5, the next update. Credit where it's due: the developers are being upfront about why, noting that popout double grinds were originally a glitch rather than an intended mechanic, but they've listened to players and decided the feature is worth keeping properly. That's the right call, and the communication around it is exactly what you want from a studio in Early Access.
For anyone who's been frustrated grinding sessions feeling off since Season 3, this should make a noticeable difference. Full patch notes below.
0.30.2 Patch Notes | All Platforms | Live on March 24
The double grinds, pop-less grind exits, low pop height, and grind assist issues have been a top priority of ours to address following the launch of Season 3. In this update, we were able to patch all but the double grinds issue.
**Developer’s Note: **We are planning to bring back popout double grinds in 0.30.5, our next update. While these were originally a glitch rather than an intended mechanic, we see the value in having them, and players have told us they enjoy them too. But, we need a bit more time to get these working in tandem with the updated Grind Popouts. Thank you for your patience!
Update will start rolling out across all platforms at the daily reset at 10AM PDT/ 5PM UTC with no downtime/server maintenance.
