Phasmophobia Hotfix v0.17.1.3 Patch Notes (19th May 2026)
Kinetic Games drops another targeted hotfix for Phasmophobia, this time squashing a crash on event maps that's been hitting players across all platforms.
Event maps were broken for a chunk of players, and Kinetic Games hasn't let that sit for long. Hotfix v0.17.1.3 is out today across all platforms, addressing a crash that was preventing players from loading into event maps entirely.
It's a single fix, but a meaningful one. Getting locked out of event content isn't a minor inconvenience, and the turnaround from Kinetic on these hotfixes has been solid. This follows closely on the heels of v0.17.1.2, which patched a separate cross-platform crash from the same update cycle. Two crashes, two quick fixes, which is the right response even if you'd rather they hadn't shipped in the first place.
