Phasmophobia Hotfix v0.17.1.2 Patch Notes (15th May 2026)
Kinetic Games pushes another hotfix for Phasmophobia, this time targeting a cross-platform crash introduced in the recent v0.17.1 update cycle.
Three hotfixes in three days. Kinetic Games has been busy since the Alan Wake collaboration dropped alongside v0.17.1.0, and the cleanup continues today with v0.17.1.2, now live across all platforms.
This one is a single-fix patch: a crash affecting every platform has been resolved. No details on what was triggering it, which is a little frustrating, but a cross-platform crash is exactly warrants dropping everything and shipping a fix fast. I'll take the quick turnaround over a detailed post-mortem any day.
If you've been hitting a wall trying to load into a session since the last update, this should sort it. Here's the full breakdown.
