PEAK SMALL patch 1.62.b Notes (29th May 2026)
A small one from the PEAK team today: fresh maps in the daily rotation, a nod to Aggro Crab, and a quiet confirmation that the final biome is in progress.
The developers weren't kidding with the all-caps warning: patch 1.62.b is a small one. A new batch of maps has been added to the daily rotation, which is welcome if you've been seeing the same layouts repeat, and the main menu now features a shoutout to Aggro Crab's new game.
The team also took the opportunity to explain how the map rotation actually works, which is more useful than it sounds. New maps have to be manually generated and added every month or so, and that process will apparently get a proper solution once PEAK's development wraps up. Good to know it's not just a forgotten system.
The real buried headline, though, is the confirmation that the final biome is actively in development. No timeline, and the team made clear they're not giving one, but for players waiting on the full picture of PEAK's world, it's at least something.
Here's everything that changed.

IT'S A SMALL PATCH DON'T GET TOO EXCITED
- Added a new batch of maps for the daily rotation!
- And on the main menu you'll see a shoutout to Aggro Crab's new game :)
people ask whenever we add new maps so as an fyi: we have to generate new maps every month or so and add them to the game ourselves for the daily rotation. We'll have a solution sorted whenever we finish development on peak!
also yes we are working on the final biome! no you can't know when it'll be finished.
