Overwatch 2 Patch Notes (31st March 2026)

Blizzard has pushed a small bug fix update for Overwatch 2 today, and per the official patch notes, replay codes have been wiped as part of the process. It's a tight list of three fixes, but two of them are genuinely annoying problems that have been hitting players mid-match.

The Stadium UI vanishing at the start of a round gets patched out again, which tells you everything you need to know about how stubborn that bug has been. Emre's gun-swapping on a simultaneous reload and ultimate cast is also gone, which was the kind of thing that could cost you a fight at the worst possible moment. The third fix is more niche: Mercy's mythic skin was causing her damage boost beam to lock onto the dead centre of Bastion's turret form, which sounds minor until you realise it was visually misleading in a mode where target priority matters.

Nothing here reshuffles the meta, and honestly that's fine. Clean-up patches like this don't get headlines, but they're the difference between a game that feels polished and one that doesn't. Full patch notes below.

• Fixed an issue where Emre's gun would swap if you reloaded and cast your ultimate at the same time
• Fixed an issue where Mercy’s mythic skin caused the damage boost beam to align directly with the center of Bastion’s turret form
