Overwatch 2 Patch Notes (22nd May 2026)
A focused hotfix lands for Overwatch 2, rebalancing Stadium's Jetpack Cat powers and touching several heroes across all three roles.
Blizzard dropped a hotfix for Overwatch 2 yesterday, and while it's a smaller update relative to the May 12th anniversary patch, there's enough here to shift how a few heroes feel in both Stadium and standard play.
The Stadium changes are the headliners. Jetpack Cat's Bouncing Biscuits heal more aggressively now (up to 35% from 25%), and Bell Bomb hits harder at 120 damage instead of 100. Tow-Beans gets pulled back though, with ability damage per 1% fuel dropping from 10 to 7.5. Outside Stadium, D.Va takes a quiet but meaningful hit: Micro Missiles impact damage drops from 3 to 2, which chips away at her ability to quickly delete squishier targets. Pharah's burst damage also gets trimmed across two perks, and Freja picks up some welcome mobility improvements with a shorter Updraft cooldown and a fixed Rising Winds perk. Baptiste's Regenerative Burst is faster and heals more, which I think makes him viable again in coordinated play.
A handful of bug fixes round things out, including a persistent Juno cooldown reset that was breaking her Stadium build entirely. Full patch notes below.
