Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Patch 1.5.6: A Jester's (25th J

Patch 1.5.6 is live, and it's bringing something a little different to Bohemia. A peculiar Jester has set up shop outside the Hangman's Halter Tavern, and according to Warhorse Studios, he's shouting about a strange new game, which means a fresh quest is waiting for anyone curious enough to investigate.

Beyond the new content, this update tackles some annoying control issues. The game sometimes got stuck on Xbox control scheme detection even when you were playing on a handheld device with a mouse and keyboard plugged in, that's fixed now. There's also new Steam Controller support, which is long overdue for a game that's been out this long. On the hardcore mode side, there was a UX glitch when confirming your disadvantage selections without enough perks picked; that's sorted too.

It's a smaller patch focused on polish and a single new quest hook, but the control fixes should make life easier for anyone juggling different input methods.

Fixed an issue with Mikesh or Kozliek required to be recruited even though they were dead, if the player has visited the Mysteria Ecclesiae monastery after killing them.
