Enshrouded Changelog for Hotfix #41 v.0.9.1.2 Notes (11th May 2026)

Enshrouded's latest hotfix targets a VFX-related crash and that irritating dodge roll stutter, small patch, but the right priorities.

Small patch today, but Keen Games is fixing the things that actually matter. Hotfix #41 v.0.9.1.2 is live for Enshrouded, and the headline fix is a VFX issue that was causing crashes, the kind of silent killer that can completely derail a long survival session with no warning.

The other fix is for dodge roll stuttering when standing still after a roll. If you've been playing any combat-heavy content recently and noticed your character briefly locking up after a dodge, that's the one. It's a small thing on paper, but in a game where positioning and movement matter, a stutter at the wrong moment can get you killed.

One heads-up: the crash detection improvements touch a large number of VFX files, so expect shader compilation to run a bit longer than usual on your next launch. Keen Games flagged this in the notes, which I appreciate, vague patch notes that leave players wondering why their load times changed are a pet peeve, and this is the right way to handle it. Everything in the update is listed below.

Changelog for Hotfix #41 v.0.9.1.2

The revision of Hotfix #41 is 1024233

Changelog:

  • Fixed a VFX issue that might lead to a crash
  • Improved crash detection even more to help us diagnose and fix future issues. This affects a lot of VFX files, therefore shader compilation might take a bit longer than usual. Sorry about that, but we promise it’s for a very good reason!
  • Fixed dodge roll stuttering when standing still after the roll
