Enshrouded Changelog for Hotfix #36 v.0.9.0.4 Patch Notes (24th March)
Enshrouded's Hotfix #36 is a small but targeted client-side fix, addressing terrain rendering glitches hitting Nvidia RTX 50 series GPU owners on driver version 595.79.
Keen Games has pushed Hotfix #36 v.0.9.0.4 for Enshrouded today, and it's a narrow but welcome fix. If you've been seeing terrain rendering glitches, this is almost certainly why.
The patch targets a specific issue with Nvidia RTX 50 series GPUs running driver version 595.79, which was causing graphical corruption in terrain rendering. Not a widespread crash or a progression blocker, but visual noise in a survival game built around exploring a beautifully fogged-out open world is the kind of thing that grates. Credit where it's due to Keen for isolating and shipping the fix quickly.
One thing worth flagging: this is a client-only update. If you're running a dedicated server, you don't need to touch anything on that end. The revision number for Hotfix #36 remains 893400. Full patch notes below.
The revision of Hotfix #36 is still 893400
Changelog
Fixed an issue with Nvidia RTX50 series GPUs and using the driver version 595.79 causing graphical glitches in the terrain rendering.
Please note: this is a client-only fix. Dedicated servers do not require an update.
