EA SPORTS FC 26 FC 26 PC Launch Issue Addressed (13th April 2026)
EA has patched a PC-specific issue that was stopping some players from launching EA SPORTS FC 26, often triggering stability problems in the process.

A frustrating one for PC players: some of you have been unable to launch EA SPORTS FC 26 at all, with the failed attempts often triggering stability issues on top of the base problem. EA has now addressed that in a small but targeted update, confirmed via the official Steam news page.
According to EA, the fix was actually rolled out last month, so if you were affected, you should already be past it. Previously impacted players should now be able to launch the game without hitting the same wall. It's a narrow patch, but a launch-blocking bug is about as high-priority as it gets, so getting this resolved matters.
