Core Keeper 1.2.0.7 - Stability Patch Notes (1st April 2026)

Core Keeper's latest patch is a small but important one, targeting two platform-specific bugs that could seriously mess with your save data.

Core Keeper dropped a focused stability patch today, version 1.2.0.7, and while it's only two fixes, both of them matter more than the short list implies.

On PC, there was a nasty bug where your player inventory could silently roll back to an older state when connecting to a world whose save file had been copied from another slot or machine. If you've been migrating saves between PCs or keeping backups, that's exactly the kind of thing you'd hit without understanding why your inventory looked wrong. On Switch, the fix is arguably more serious: save files could become corrupted if a crash hit at the wrong moment during an auto-save. Corrupted saves in a game you've sunk hours into are not a minor inconvenience, and credit where it's due to Punk Bunny for getting this addressed.

Neither fix changes gameplay, but both protect the time you've already put in. According to the official patch notes on Steam, that's the full scope of this update. Full patch notes below.

Bug Fixes

  • [PC] Fixed an issue where the player inventory could be reverted to a previous state when connecting to a world whose save file had been copied from another save slot or machine.
  • [Switch] Fixed a bug where save files could become corrupted if a crash happened with bad timing during an auto-save.
