Conan Exiles April Hotfix Patch Notes (27th April 2026)

Character transfers are back. Funcom pushed a small hotfix to Conan Exiles today, and the headline change is simple: Steam character transfers have been re-enabled after being taken offline.

The timing matters. With the Enhanced version of Conan Exiles on the horizon, players on both Isle of Siptah and Exiled Lands now have the window they need to move characters across servers, including private ones, before the upgrade lands. If you've been holding off on repositioning your character ahead of that transition, now's the time. The April Hotfix also addresses a nasty side effect of those transfers: thralls, pets, and mounts that vanished after a character transfer should now be restored when you log back into the server. Losing your follower roster to a transfer bug is the sort of thing that puts people off playing, so getting that fixed alongside the re-enable is the right call.

This is a targeted patch, not a sweeping update, but for anyone planning around the Enhanced version launch it removes a real blocker. Here's everything that changed.

Full Patch Notes

Greetings Exiles,

We have a quick hotfix that re-enables character transfers on Steam.

Changes

  • Character Transfers have been re-enabled on Steam.
  • Players of Isle of Siptah and Exiled Lands alike can prepare for the upgrade to the Enhanced version by transferring their characters to different servers, including private servers, if they so choose. Read more about the Enhanced version and all the changes it will bring on our blog.

Bug Fixes

  • All thralls, pets and mounts followers that disappeared after doing a character transfer should be restored upon logging into the server.
