Brighter Shores Fractured Reality Quest Patch Notes (6th May 2026)

Grrrayam the kobold has a problem: his pet metaliths are somewhere deep in the Mine of Mantuban after a minecart race went predictably sideways. That's the hook for Fractured Reality, the new quest added to Brighter Shores in today's patch. To pick it up, you'll need Mantuban's Legacy completed first, then find Grrrayam in the Truck Cave.

Outside the new content, the quality-of-life changes are small but sensible. Enchantment potion reagents now get a rare border colour so they don't disappear into the noise of regular item drops, which anyone who's ever misidentified loot mid-run will appreciate. Drinking an enrage potion also now immediately cancels immunity, closing a gap that was clearly causing friction in combat timing.

On the bug fix side, the team has patched out a placeholder string appearing in kobold arena chat, corrected some stat display issues on weapon item cards, and fixed a case where another player's avatar could incorrectly vanish during combat.
