Brighter Shores Easter 2026 Event Patch Notes (7th April 2026)
Brighter Shores has kicked off its Easter 2026 event today, bringing a rabbit-hunting quest to Hopeport alongside a handful of quality of life fixes.

The Easter 2026 event is now live in Brighter Shores, and the setup is exactly the kind of low-stakes charm the game does well. Dorothy, who runs the new Rabbit Cafe on Old Street East in Hopeport, has woken from a nap to find every rabbit has bolted. Your job is to track them down before her boss finds out. The rewards are exclusive, and the studio has confirmed they will never be made available again once the event ends on 5th May 2026.
On the quality of life side, legendary fish now have a distinct radar icon colour, which is a small but genuinely useful change if you spend any time fishing. The patch also relocates three of the runaway rabbits in Hopeforest, removing the previous requirement to complete the Forgotten Things quest first. That's a smart fix; gating event content behind an unrelated quest is the kind of friction that quietly frustrates players without anyone meaning it to.
The rest is bug fixes: camera issues in cutscenes, a transmog rendering problem with female Easter legs and tall boots, and the usual typo sweep. Nothing dramatic, but the event itself is the draw here. Full patch notes below.
Dorothy has been left in charge of the new Rabbit Cafe on Old Street East in Hopeport. After waking up from a well-deserved afternoon nap, she discovered all the rabbits have gone missing! Dorothy will be eternally grateful, and maybe even give you a little reward, if you help her recover them before her boss comes back.
The Easter 2026 event will be removed with the game update on 5th May 2026, after which you will not be able to recover any rabbits or claim any rewards. As with previous seasonal events, we will never make these Easter 2026 rewards available again, so now is your only chance to get them.
Steve was the lead developer for the Easter 2026 Event.
