ARK: Survival Ascended Client v85.28 Patch Notes (7th April 2026)
ARK: Survival Ascended's v85.28 client patch fixes a Warrior Rage progression blocker, while the v85 major update brought the Eggcellent Adventure event, a new creature, and a wave of bug fixes.
Client v85.28 dropped today on Steam with a targeted fix: Warrior Rage was not learnable after Bloodlust, which is exactly the kind of progression blocker that turns a boss run into a frustrating dead end. Small patch, real impact.
The heavier lifting happened with v85 on April 1st. The Eggcellent Adventure event went live, bringing a new creature called Flovis, a stack of garden-themed cosmetics, and two new emotes. The Acrocanthosaurus also arrived, spawning across eight maps including The Island, Scorched Earth, and Ragnarok. Beyond the event content, the v85 patch addressed a solid list of bugs: the Rockwell fight got some meaningful tweaks (Reapers no longer aggro on Rockwell, and killing him now rewards a chibi), Lost Colony boss fight engrams moved into city loot crates, and several crash and UI issues were resolved. The fix for Cryopoding resetting Box o' Chocolates cooldowns is one those quality-of-life corrections that tame breeders will notice immediately.
