MLB The Show 24 players on the Nintendo Switch version have been facing persistent crashes, particularly in the Diamond Dynasty mode, as reported by numerous players on the game's official forum and Reddit page.

One Reddit user expressed frustration, stating, "Every time I go to start the first moment in the program the game completely crashes. Tried last night, tried again this morning." Others echoed similar sentiments, with one user mentioning, "I bought yesterday and only select things are working. The game needs an update to work."

Nintendo Life and Xbox writer PJ O'Reilly also mentioned the issue, highlighting that "Most modes dump you straight to the Switch home screen when you select them."

Reports of crashes during games have been frequent, with users experiencing game crashes and being unable to progress in various modes. A developer has acknowledged the issue, reassuring players that a fix is being actively worked on.

MLB The Show 24 was released on multiple platforms, including PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch, PS4, and Xbox One. The standard edition of the game is available on Xbox Game Pass.
