Exciting news for Street Fighter 6 fans as the fourth DLC character, Akuma, is set to be unleashed next month on May 22. Players who own the Year 1 Character Pass will have the opportunity to add Akuma to their roster and take their battles to the next level.

Akuma, known for his powerful moves and relentless fighting style, will make his grand entrance into the game, ready to test the skills of anyone brave enough to face him. Just like the other DLC characters, Akuma will be playable in all three modes of Street Fighter 6 – World Tour, Fighting Ground, and Battle Hub.

But that's not all, as players can expect even more content to enhance their gaming experience. Alongside Akuma, new outfits will be available for Year 1 DLC characters Rashid, A.K.I., and Ed. Additionally, "major battle balance updates" are on the horizon, along with the introduction of a brand-new stage called Enma's Hollow, where Akuma will continue his intense training.

Since its release in June 2023, Street Fighter 6 has taken the gaming world by storm, selling over three million copies. Capcom, the mastermind behind the game, has set its sights on reaching 10 million lifetime sales, aiming to solidify its place in gaming history.

And the excitement doesn't stop there. Legendary Entertainment, the powerhouse behind films like Dune and Godzilla vs. Kong, has acquired the film and TV rights to the Street Fighter series. Fans can look forward to a new live-action adaptation co-produced by Capcom and Legendary Entertainment, bringing the iconic characters and intense battles to the big screen.
