The highly anticipated Season 3 update of Call of Duty is right around the corner, and players are in for a treat with a plethora of new content. Activision and associated studios have announced a jam-packed update that includes six new maps, four new modes, changes to Ranked Play, Rebirth Island, and much more.

One of the most exciting aspects of the Season 3 update is the introduction of four new weapons and a variety of new perks and gadgets for players to enjoy across Modern Warfare 3, Warzone, and Warzone Mobile.

New Weapons to Look Out For:

  • FJX Horus: An ultra-compact SMG with high close-quarters damage
  • MORS: The 'Railgun' Sniper Rifle (Advanced Warfare)
  • Gladiator: A small, brutal 'punch knife'
  • BAL-27: A Bullpup Assault Rifle (Advanced Warfare)

Additionally, fans can look forward to the arrival of 'legacy weapons' in Call of Duty, with Season 3 introducing some of the best ones to the game. Eight new 'Aftermarket Parts' will also be available through exclusive challenges and contracts, allowing players to enhance their weapons.

New Equipment in Season 3:

  • Gunslinger Vest
  • Modular Assault Rig
  • Compression Carrier
  • Reinforced Boots
  • High-Gain Antenna

These new equipment items offer various buffs and advantages, changing up the gameplay experience for many players. The Compression Carrier, for example, provides health regeneration buffs and reduced effects from gas, making it a valuable addition to any loadout.

Midway through Season 3, players can expect to see the introduction of the 'Enhanced Vision Goggles', which provide a unique electric-style overlay to the game screen. This feature enhances 'target highlighting', making it easier for players to spot enemies in the battlefield.
