Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 fans, get ready for some major excitement as Activision has just released the roadmap for Season 3, and it's packed with thrilling updates to multiplayer gameplay.
Season 3 will bring four new game modes to the table, including the return of classic modes like Capture the Flag and One in the Chamber, along with two new modes: Minefield and Escort, coming mid-season. These modes promise to keep players on their toes with intense action and strategic gameplay.
According to Activision, Capture the Flag requires players to steal their opponent's flag and return it to their home base while defending their own flag. To win, teams must showcase both offensive and defensive skills in a high-stakes battle.
One in the Chamber is a free-for-all mode where players start with a single bullet and earn an extra bullet with each successful kill. It's a high-intensity mode that will test players' aim and survival skills.
Minefield, on the other hand, adds a new twist to existing game modes by incorporating proximity mines. Players will need to navigate the battlefield carefully to avoid falling victim to these deadly traps.
And for those who enjoyed the limited-time mode Payload in Call of Duty: Warzone, Season 3 introduces a similar mode where two teams compete to protect or destroy a moving target across various maps.
In addition to the new game modes, Season 3 will also introduce six new 6v6 maps, including three brand new maps, two repurposed maps, and one remastered map. These maps offer a variety of environments and playstyles for players to explore and conquer.
From the urban setting of 6 Star to the intense battles of Emergency, each map presents unique challenges and opportunities for players to showcase their skills.
