Shortly after the initial release of MLB The Show 24, players were surprised to stumble upon the previously elusive Real 99 series of cards within the Diamond Dynasty mode. However, the party didn't last long as a fix for this bug has been implemented in the recent MLB The Show 24 update 1.04.

For those who might have missed out on experiencing the Real 99 series or are unfamiliar with it, let's delve into the details following the patch notes announcement for MLB The Show 24.

Recently, a peculiar occurrence took place in MLB The Show 24 where players started spotting the Real 99 series cards while engaging in Co-Op mode within the Diamond Dynasty section. Typically, Co-Op gameplay involves drafting lineups, and it wasn't long before players noticed that the previously unattainable Real 99 cards were up for grabs for the first time.

It turns out that the Real 99 series in MLB The Show 24 is designed exclusively for active MLB players. Any real-life baseball player featured in Diamond Dynasty has the chance to acquire a unique Real 99 card tailored to themselves for their team.

This essentially means that if you come across a Real 99 card in an online Diamond Dynasty match, you're essentially facing off against that MLB player within MLB The Show 24. Due to a bug in Co-Op mode, these incredibly rare cards were being distributed almost freely during lineup selection.
