The latest update for Fortnite Festival has finally brought support for Rock Band 4 guitar controllers, giving you a whole new way to experience the game. Developed by Harmonix, the studio behind Rock Band, this exciting addition allows players to rock out on the Main Stage with their friends or jam solo to tracks from popular artists.

Since its launch in December, players have been eagerly anticipating the addition of guitar controller support to the free-to-play music game. Now, thanks to Epic Games' acquisition of Harmonix in 2021, players can use their Rock Band 4 guitar controllers on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC to take their performances to the next level.

With the addition of Pro Lead and Pro Bass song parts, players can now fully immerse themselves in the music and enjoy a more authentic playing experience. Whether you're a seasoned musician or a casual player, the new guitar controller support adds a fun and challenging element to Fortnite Festival.

In addition to the new gameplay feature, Fortnite Festival has also introduced singer-songwriter Billie Eilish as its third featured artist. Following in the footsteps of The Weeknd and Lady Gaga, Eilish brings her unique style and music to the festival, offering players a fresh selection of songs to perform.

Looking ahead, upcoming featured artists may include big names like Metallica and Snoop Dogg, according to leaked information about Fortnite's content roadmap for 2024. These new additions will continue to expand the festival's music library and offer players even more variety in their performances.

On top of the new guitar controller support and featured artists, Epic has also introduced a new battle royale setting that allows players to toggle visibility on certain emotes. This feature aims to create a more inclusive and respectful gaming environment by giving players control over their experience and interactions.
