Steam has witnessed a doubling in peak player counts for both Fallout 76 and Fallout 4 in the past week, signaling a resurgence in interest. As of now:
- Fallout 4: 43,000 peak players from 18,000
- Fallout 76: 19,161 peak players from 10,000
- Fallout 3: 2,501 peak players from 813
This increase in players demonstrates the massive impact the Fallout multimedia universe has had on bringing both new and returning fans to the franchise. Bethesda Game Studios' marketing push, combined with the Amazon Prime Video series, has reinvigorated interest in the games.
While Fallout 5 may still be a few years away, the current focus on exploring the older titles has proven to be a hit among gamers.
