It seems we'll have to wait a little longer to get our hands on The Rogue Prince of Persia. Evil Empire, the studio behind the highly anticipated game, has announced a delay in the release date from May 14 to later this month.
The reason for the delay is actually quite exciting. It appears that the recent surprise release of Hades 2 Early Access has taken the gaming world by storm. Evil Empire, like many of us, has fallen under the spell of this new game and has decided to give players the chance to immerse themselves in Hades 2 before diving into The Rogue Prince of Persia.
In a statement released on Friday, Evil Empire acknowledged the overwhelming popularity of Hades 2 and stated, "Seeing as everyone and their mum is playing that game (including our entire team… and their mums), we have decided to let people have their fun with it before we release The Rogue Prince of Persia."
