Capcom recently released Dragon's Dogma 2, the highly anticipated sequel that has left many fans disappointed. Shortly after its launch, players discovered a significant number of undisclosed microtransactions within the game, sparking outrage among the gaming community.

With 60% of the 4,700 reviews on Steam being negative, it's clear that players are not happy with the presence of these microtransactions. What has angered players even more is the fact that Capcom failed to inform them about these in-game purchases prior to the game's release.

According to Windows Central, almost two dozen microtransactions have been uncovered, ranging from character edits to fast traveling and in-game currency known as 'Rift Crystals'.

Some players have criticized these microtransactions for introducing a 'pay-to-win' element to the game, offering advantages that cannot be obtained through regular gameplay. One Steam user expressed their frustration by stating:

"Look how they massacred my boy turned him into a cash grab and murdered his soul should have let him rest but instead you dug him up and waved his corpse around with makeup on like the rats you are."

In addition to the microtransactions, PC users have also raised concerns about optimization issues and the inclusion of Denuvo in the game. Many players feel that Capcom's decision to implement these practices without prior disclosure is unfair to consumers.
