Players of the popular game Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth have been encountering a bug that has been preventing them from obtaining the coveted Platinum Trophy. However, there is good news on the horizon as Square Enix has announced that the issue will be resolved in the game's next patch.
The bug was introduced in a recent update and specifically impacted the Can't Stop, Won't Stop sidequest, which involves a G-Bike arcade simulator minigame. Players were unable to register scores gained in this minigame, which in turn made it impossible to earn the necessary high score for a PlayStation Trophy, thereby making the Platinum Trophy unattainable.
Square Enix has acknowledged the issue on the game's official X account and reassured players that it will be addressed in the upcoming patch. In a statement, they said, "We're aware of an issue stopping progress in the 'Can't Stop Won't Stop' sidequest. This is scheduled to be fixed in the next patch. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this has caused. Thank you for your patience and support while we work to address this issue."
