If you've been eagerly awaiting the physical edition of Baldur's Gate 3 for consoles, you might have to hold on a little longer. Larian Studios has announced a delay in the production of the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions, pushing back the shipping dates to between April and May. While the PC version has already started shipping, console players will have to exercise some patience.
Larian Studios explained the delay by saying, "We wanted to get the console versions into the hands of players earlier, however, production issues have meant that shipping dates have been pushed back slightly." This means that players waiting for the Xbox version will now receive 4 physical discs instead of the originally planned 3, showcasing the size and scale of the game.
