Exciting news for ARK: Survival Ascended players! Studio Wildcard recently released the Scorched Earth update, and now they have announced the upcoming free expansion, "The Center." Set to launch on June 3, this expansion will not only introduce a new map but also bring the majestic Shastasaurus into the game.
The announcement from Studio Wildcard reveals that while some developers are focused on fixing bugs in the Scorched Earth update, the majority of the team is dedicated to bringing "The Center" to life. According to the studio, this new expansion will offer players a whole new ARK world that is double the size of The Island, featuring a Tolkien-fantasy feel and plenty of surprises to uncover.
Studio Wildcard stated:
"Mark your calendars, because on June 3rd, we’re releasing The Center with Shastasaurus! This free expansion is like a whole new ARK world – double the size of The Island, that gorgeous Tolkien-fantasy feel, and tons of new surprises for you to uncover."
While there is no confirmation yet on additional fixes or new servers being added, players can expect more teasers and announcements regarding The Center in the weeks leading up to launch. Stay tuned for more updates!
