Sonic Racing CrossWorlds Adds Tangle & Whisper Next Week
Sega is gearing up to drop the Tangle & Whisper update for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds next week, bringing new racers and a limited-time festival.

If you’ve been tearing up the tracks in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds and craving something fresh, Sega’s got you covered. The studio officially announced the "Tangle & Whisper Content Drop" update, which will hit on February 25. This update brings two fan-favorite characters, Tangle and Whisper, as playable racers to the mix, expanding the roster and the chaos on screen.
But that’s not all. To celebrate the new additions, an in-game “Tangle & Whisper Festival” will kick off the very next day on February 26 at 4:00 p.m. PT (7:00 p.m. ET) and run until March 1 at 3:59 p.m. PT (6:59 p.m. ET). Expect special challenges and events that spotlight these two characters and add some fresh excitement to your races. If you want to get a feel for the game before the update, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is available across multiple platforms including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, so you can join the fun no matter your setup. You can catch the full details from Sega’s official announcement and check out the game’s Steam page to jump in.
Whether you’re here for the speed, the characters, or just the fresh festival vibes, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds’ upcoming update promises to keep the turbo charged. Tangle and Whisper arrive next week.
