6 Million Sold, Kingdom Come 2 Shows No Signs of Slowing
Warhorse's medieval RPG keeps climbing, hitting six million units sold and celebrating with a Balatro crossover quest and Steam Summer Sale discounts.

Five million in February, six million by June. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is putting up the kind of sustained sales curve that most RPGs would kill for, and Warhorse Studios clearly isn't taking the momentum for granted.
Deep Silver and Warhorse confirmed the milestone alongside a new update and a Steam Summer Sale push that puts the original game at 80 percent off and the sequel at 60 percent off. For a game that launched on February 4 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, adding a million units roughly every few months is a pace that puts it firmly in the upper tier of RPG sales this generation. I think the BAFTA win for Best Narrative gave it a second wind with players who were still on the fence, and the consistent post-launch support hasn't hurt either.
What stands out to me is that Warhorse is still investing in KCD2's live content even while juggling two newly announced projects: a third Kingdom Come game and a Lord of the Rings RPG. The latest patch, 1.5.6, dropped yesterday with a Balatro-inspired crossover quest, Steam Controller support, and a handful of bug fixes. It's a small update, but the Balatro tie-in is a smart, playful move that keeps the game in the conversation without requiring a full content drop. The franchise joining the Steam Summer Sale at the same time is textbook timing.
Six million for a historically grounded, systems-heavy RPG from a mid-sized Czech studio is a serious number. Warhorse has earned every one of those sales by shipping a polished product and following up with consistent patches and genuine content additions rather than a cash shop.
