GTA 6 YouTuber Walked Into Rockstar's Lobby, Lasted Seconds
German YouTuber ÜberGaming marched into Rockstar North's Edinburgh office to "commemorate" GTA 6's original launch date. He lasted seconds before getting thrown out and greeted by police.

A luxury hotel across the street, a camera rolling, and a plan to walk straight into one of the most secretive game studios on the planet. German YouTuber ÜberGaming filmed himself and his crew entering the lobby of Rockstar North's Edinburgh office on May 26, the date Grand Theft Auto VI was originally supposed to launch before its second delay. According to a report from Portal Viciados, the group made it through the front door and lasted only seconds before being ejected. Then the police showed up.
ÜberGaming had deliberately booked a room at the Edinburgh Marriott Hotel Holyrood, which sits directly across from Rockstar North, to stage the stunt. In footage shared on his channel, the YouTuber and friends march into the lobby before being swiftly removed. Police officers arrived shortly after, reportedly taking down the identification details of everyone involved. According to ÜberGaming's own account, officers told him that if any GTA 6 material leaked going forward, they'd be coming back to have a conversation. The crew was not arrested, but the message was clear.
All that planning, a flight to Scotland, a hotel room with a view of the studio, and the grand result was a few seconds of lobby footage and a chat with Edinburgh police. I'd call it performance art if there were anything to perform. This is content creation at its most hollow: a stunt designed entirely around the thumbnail, with zero chance of producing anything of actual value.
This is also not an isolated incident. Last October, a different TikTok creator flew to Edinburgh and began pestering Rockstar employees on the street as they entered and exited the building, demanding information about a third trailer. Developers at the studio are already under enormous pressure as GTA 6 approaches its November 19 launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X, and having random creators show up at their workplace demanding access or clout obnoxious; it raises genuine safety concerns for the people actually making the game.
Rockstar has kept official GTA 6 information tightly controlled since the game's reveal, with marketing and pre-orders expected to ramp up this summer. That information drought has fuelled speculation, fake leaks, and apparently intercontinental stunts that end before they begin.
